Cooperation Models

Approaches to Cooperation

Our cooperation with customers is generally based on one of the two approaches:

  • Project approach – completing a set of tasks limited in time, resources and cost;
  • Long-term approach (testing center) – putting together a permanent dedicated team to report directly to the customer over a long period of time starting from six months.

Project approach implies implementation of a single project: tasks are analysed, project team is put together, strategy is formulated, and scheduled work is done in line with the strategy.

The advantage of this model is that the customer is given a professional team supplied with the necessary infrastructure to start doing tasks right away for the duration of the project. Once the project is complete, the team is dissolved, since it has no workload.

In case you run a series of projects and have long-term plans for development activities, it is a good idea to adhere to the dedicated testing center cooperation model.

Advantages of this cooperation approach include:

  • The customer is given an experienced team capable of doing a wide range of tasks in comprehensive software testing; the team is engaged solely in the projects of the customer and reports directly to the customer;
  • The team accumulates knowledge of the customer’s products and processes thus becoming more autonomous, which in due course brings down the costs of management, business consultants and customer managers;
  • The team may simultaneously run several projects; the customer is free to reorder task priorities, terminate and set new tasks;
  • Over the course of time the process of team expansion becomes easier, because the existing project team bears responsibility for knowledge transfer;
  • The customer uses the ready infrastructure free of charge (the infrastructure is built within the Qulix QA framework and includes test platforms, technical support, project repositories, change management tools, test automation tools, etc.)

Types of Projects

  • Independent quality assessment of ready software products

    The offer will be of interest to end-users to ensure that the system properly fits the specified requirements and is developed with a high level of quality and to software manufacturers to carry out acceptance testing before the product is passed to the customer or put into commercial operation.

  • QA as part of development process

    Under this offer our specialists provide complete QA services to customers or third party software producers. We will run a full range of services starting from test requirements analysis, development of QA strategy, preparation of test documentation, regular testing of builds, and generation of software quality reports, up to performing acceptance testing, and doing a release readiness review.

  • Resource model

    The resource model implies involvement of Qulix QA experts of required qualification in order to strengthen the customer’s QA team, hold consultations or perform certain tasks that demand unique knowledge and specific professional experience.

Every cooperation model offers onsite support services, in which case part of the work is done on customer premises.
